We're having a trailer day today at HOLLYWOOD SPY since I have a bunch of new clips to show you. The first one is for a futuristic comedy drama ROBOT AND FRANK which will hit cinemas later this August. Set in the near
future, the film followsFrank, a retired cat burglar, has two grown kids who are concerned he can no longer live alone. They are tempted to place him in a nursing home until Frank's son chooses a different option: against the old man's wishes, he buys Frank a walking, talking humanoid robot programmed to improve his physical and mental health. What follows is an often hilarious and somewhat heartbreaking story about finding friends and family in the most unexpected places. The cast is lead by Frank Langella, James Marsden, Susan Sarandon and Liv Tyler.
ROME, the film follows Charlie Bronson, a getaway driver who joins the Witness Protection Program and sets off for Los Angeles with his girlfriend (Kristen Bell). The road trip doesn't go as smoothly as planned, as they're chased by a federal officer (Tom Arnold) and the leader of Charlie's old criminal gang (Bradley Cooper). The trailer is age restricted since it features some really shocking, and I'd say unnecessary, scenes, you will see it yourself :) This one hits cinemas this August. Michael Rosenbaum and Bo Bridges are also in the cast.
WRECK-IT RALPH
The second trailer is for Disney's animated movie WRECK-IT RALPH. Hitting cinemas this November it follows Wreck-It Ralph who longs to be as beloved as his game's perfect Good Guy, Fix-It Felix.
Problem is, nobody loves a Bad Guy. But they do love heroes... so when a modern, first-person shooter game arrives featuring tough-as-nails Sergeant Calhoun, Ralph sees it as his ticket to heroism and happiness.
He sneaks into the game with a simple plan—win a medal—but soon wrecks everything, and accidently unleashes a deadly enemy that threatens every game in the arcade. Ralph's only hope? Vanellope von Schweetz, a young troublemaking "glitch" from a candy-coated cart
racing game who might just be the one to teach Ralph what it means to be a Good Guy. But will he realize he is good enough to become a hero before it's "Game Over" for the entire arcade?HERE COMES THE BOOM
The third trailer today is for comedy film HERE COMES THE BOOM which will premier this October. The warm comedy stars TV actor , Kevin James who portrays a high school biology teacher who
moonlights as a mixed-martial arts fighter in an effort to raise money to save the school’s music program. James is joined by Salma Hayek in the cast.
HIT AND RUN
And the last trailer for today is the one for action comedy HIT AND RUN. Uniting Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard again after WHEN IN ROME, the film follows Charlie Bronson, a getaway driver who joins the Witness Protection Program and sets off for Los Angeles with his girlfriend (Kristen Bell).
